The German school partners and the French school partners held a big celebration - with the Heidelberg mayor as special guest.
French students visit German students & take part in celebration
The German school partner, led by Carmen Ellermann and the French school partner led by Gerard Travers combined teacher exchange with an end-of-project celebration in Heidelberg this past month. The French students from La Vall, along with their teacher (Gerard), visited their partners in Heidelberg, where the class teacher (Carmen), the local coordinator from the Padagogïshe Akademie Heidelberg (Andreas Mueller-Hartmann) and three trainees were waiting to greet them with a big, outdoor festival. Parents got involved too and helped prepare food and games for all!
The Heidelberg mayor was the guest of honor in the festivities – all of which was covered by local press – resulting in 2 newspaper articles and a radio report.
